The
*ESE
(Event Status Enable) command sets the Standard Event Status Enable Register. This reg-
ister contains a mask value for the bits to be enabled in the Standard Event Status Register. A

in the
enable register enables the corresponding bit in the Status Register, a
0
disables the corresponding bit
in the Status Register. The parameter value when expressed in base 2, represents the bit values of the
Standard Event Status Enable Register. Table 7.2 shows the contents of this register.
