Chapter 3 Performing a Run
Creating a New Run Method
1. In the Main Menu screen, touch Browse/New Methods .
2. In the Browse Run Methods screen, touch
New
.
The default run method is displayed in the Edit Run Method screen. (For
instructions on setting the default run method, see
“Designating a Run Method
as the Default” on page 1-12 .)
3. Edit the default run method as needed:
• Insert a stage (see “Adding a Stage” on page 3-10 ).
• Insert a step (see “Adding a Step” on page 3-11 ).
• Add an AutoDelta step (see “Creating an AutoDelta Step” on page 3-13 ).
• Add a pause (see “Adding a Pause” on page 3-15 ).
• Delete a step or stage (see “Deleting a Stage or Step” on page 3-15 ).
• For Veriti 96-Well Thermal Cyclers, you can add a step to program
different temperatures on the VeriFlex
™
Blocks (see “Creating a VeriFlex
™
Step” on page 3-16 ).
