Using your rangehood 

Before first use 

 

IMPORTANT: THIS PROCESS MUST BE FOLLOWED BEFORE THE RANGEHOOD IS 
USED FOR THE FIRST TIME.  

 

Cleaning

 

 

You should use a mild liquid detergent and a damp cloth on all the external 
areas of your rangehood before it is used for the first time. This will help to 
remove any residues from the manufacturing process.  

 

To use your rangehood 

 

Make sure that it has been installed by a suitably qualified person, as per the 
information contained in these installation instructions. 

 

Find the control panel, which is located in the middle of the rangehood. 

 

The control panel contains switches, as shown in the picture below. These 
perform separate functions.

Push Stop button, the motor will stop. 

 

Push the Low button, the motor will run at low speed. 

 

Push the Mid button, the motor will run at mid speed. 

 

Push the High button, the motor will run at high speed. 

 

Push the Light button and the two lights will come on. Push it again and the 
light will turn off.  

 

IMPORTANT: 

TO MAXIMISE ODOUR AND STEAM EXTRACTION IDEALLY YOU SHOULD 

SWITCH ON YOUR RANGEHOOD TEN MINUTES BEFORE YOU START TO COOK, OR AT 
THE VERY LEAST WHEN YOU BEGIN COOKING. YOU SHOULD ALSO RUN YOUR 
RANGEHOOD FOR TEN MINUTES AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED COOKING.
