Configuring the server

This section contains information about configuring the server and
installing the operating system.

To configure the RAID controller

If your server is fitted with a RAID controller, you must configure it as
described in the related documentation.

To configure the PCI-SCSI controller

Configure the PCI-SCSI controller as described in the manufacturer's
documentation. Further information is available on the driver diskettes
provided.

To install the operating system

Note:

If your server is equipped with a RAID controller, refer how

to install the desired operating system in the related manual.

Insert the installation disk and the CD of the operating system you
want to install.

Reboot the server.

Follow the instructions on the screen and in the manual for the
operating system.
