Configure the 802.1X Port settings:
Port control
Force Authorized means this port is authorized; the data is free to in/out. Force unauthorized just
opposite, the port is blocked. If users want to control this port with Radius Server, please select
Auto for port control.
MAB
MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB)
Enable or Disable the 802.1X MAC Authentication Bypass.
When MAB is enabled on a port, that port will first try to check if the connected device is 802.1X
compliant.
Re-authentication Default: 3600 seconds If enable this field, switch will ask client to re-authenticate.
Max Request
The maximum times that the switch allow client request.
Guest VLAN
0 to 4094 is available for this field. If this field is set to 0, that means the port is blocked after
authentication fail. Otherwise, the port will be set to Guest VLAN.
Host Mode
If there are more than one device connected to this port, set the Host Mode to single means only
the first PC authenticate success can access this port.
If this port is set to multi, all the devices can access this port once any one of them pass the
authentication.
Admin Control
Direction
Determined devices can end data out only or both send and receive.
Re-Auth Period
Control the Re-authentication time interval, 1-65535 are available.
Quiet Period
When authentication failed, Switch will wait for a period and try to communicate with radius server
again.
Tx period
The time interval of authentication request.
Supplicant
Timeout
The timeout for the client authenticating
Sever Timeout
The timeout for server response for authenticating.
