Precautions
Equipment protection
•
Always protect the XP-Iris equipment from moisture, heat, excessive dust or
sand and mechanical shocks.
•
Avoid wrapping headphone cables tightly around the items when not in use as
this can cause damage
Noise level
•
Avoid continuous periods of high volume listening. If you experience a ringing in
your ears, reduce the volume or discontinue use.
•
Keep the volume at a moderate level. This will allow you to hear outside sounds
and be considerate to the people around you.
Service, repairs and modifications
•
Service and repairs should be carried out by Antenna International only. Do not
attempt to make repairs, or modifications to your XP-Iris equipment. This will be
in breach of the terms of your contract and will invalidate your warranty.
Electric shocks
•
When using the chargers, avoid touching the metal contacts in each charging slot
once the power supply has been connected.
•
When cleaning the charging units, always ensure the power supply is switched
off.
Battery disposal
•
Always dispose of old batteries in an environmentally-safe way, in accordance
with local regulations. Where possible re-cycle them. Contact your local authority
for details of battery re-cycling locations in your area.
•
Do not puncture or incinerate batteries.
Charging stand
•
Always ensure the charging stand is stable or firmly fixed so it does not tip over
and cause injuries.
