FIG. 2
INSTALLATION
WARNING!
The product must only be mounted on a
surface of non-flammable material.
• Remove all the packaging material and
check that no parts are missing or
damaged.
• Fit the mounting bracket on the product
by first aligning the round parts of the
bracket between the attachment plates
on the IR heater casing. Now fit the large
screws through the holes in the
attachment plates and the mounting
bracket and screw tight with flat washers
and nuts.
FIG. 3
• The surface should be vibration-free,
vertical and sufficiently stable to safely
support the weight of the product. The
supplied fasteners for the wall bracket are
intended for brick and concrete walls.
Fasteners must be bought separately for
other wall materials.
IMPORTANT:
• Check that the mounting distance is
correct before fitting the wall bracket
– see SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
ATTACHMENT
1. Fasten the mounting bracket horizontally
on the wall with four screws.
2. Adjust the product to the required angle.
There are three positions: horizontal
(radiation direction straight forward),
down at slight angle (radiation direction
towards far end of the floor) and down at
steep angle (radiation direction to nearby
floor). Lock the product at the required
angle by screwing in the small screws
(X) in the mounting bracket and the
attachment plates in the product casing.
3. Do a final check and if necessary re-
tighten all the screw unions and check
that the product is mounted firmly.
4. The product is now ready to use.
FIG. 4
USE
• Keep the product under careful
supervision for the first 15 minutes after it
has been started for the first time, or after
prolonged storage, to check that it is
working properly.
• Always check before use that:
– The product is undamaged.
– The product is firmly in place
(mechanical stress or vibrations as a
result of wind or precipitation can in
time cause the fasteners to come
loose).
– No foreign objects, tarpaulins,
parasols etc. are within the safe
distance.
– The power point used has the correct
voltage, is earthed, and has a
residual current device.
SWITCHING ON THE HEAT
1. Plug the plug into a power point.
2. Pull the pull switch to start the heating.
3. Pull the pull switch again to switch off.
