use
Rechargeable metal torch made of aircraft style aluminium with 3 Watt LED (Cree
®
XR-E 7090). The lamp is
provided with a 6 V/ 3000 mAh NiMH battery pack. It comes complete with a wall bracket and an integrated
microprocessor controlled charger, an AC power supply and a DC adaptor for 12-24 V operation.
Fixing OF tHe wallHOlder
The wall bracket can either be attached to the wall or mounted in the car. When mounting to the wall, a
mains socket should be within easy reach. If used in the car, the torch should be fixed with a rubber band
to hold it in place.
cHarging
To recharge the torch put it into the wall mounting station and use either the AC power supply or the 12-24V
DC adaptor. At the end of charging the battery is powered by trickle charge. Thanks to this microprocessor
controlled charging technology the lamp can be left attached to the charger/wall bracket until it is needed.
It allows easy recharging regardless of the charging status of the battery. With empty batteries the
maximum charging time of the torch is 6 hours.
It is also possible to recharge a spare battery pack in the wall mounting station while the torch is in use
elsewhere.

The operating time of the RMDplus is about 10 hours. Up to 6.5 hours you have excellent light (125 Lumen),
up to 10 hours it‘s still good (30Lumen).
FOcusing
The light cone focus can be adjusted by turning the head of the lamp clockwise.
replacing OF tHe BulB
Turn the head of the lamp anticlockwise and remove first the complete head, then the bulb base. Unscrew
the black lamp base screw and take out the LED. Replace the LED and put the whole together in reverse order
(CREE XR-E 7090)

Protect against high humidity and water. Do not expose to extreme temperatures. For cleaning and
maintenance disconnect the power supply from the mains. To clean the RMDplus use only a dry cloth.
Do not use if there are signs of damage to the housing, cables of connectors of the torch, wall bracket, DC or
AC adaptors. Never try to open the AC adaptor.
Replacing of the rechargeable battery
To remove the battery pack from the torch, open the cap at the bottom.
