REPLACING THE BATTERY

NOTE:
The battery should be replaced in the morning on
a sunny day This will allow the battery to be charged for
8 hours in sunlight and achieve full capacity
• Undo the solar panel holder by turning it
anticlockwise You may need to turn the product
upside down so that the solar panel holder drops
out
• Turn the battery cover anticlockwise and remove it
• Replace the battery with a new one of the same
type (rechargeable AA battery, 12 V, with at least
the same capacity) Only use rechargeable
batteries
NOTE:
If necessary, clean the battery terminals and the
product terminals before inserting the new battery
• Insert the battery with the correct polarity
• Replace the battery cover
• Replace the solar panel holder and lock in place by
turning it clockwise
WARNING:
• Can be used outdoors
• Insert the battery with the correct polarity as shown by the markings in the battery compartment If
the battery is inserted with the incorrect polarity there is a risk that the battery can be damaged, leak,
or explode
• Do not burn batteries
• Recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations
• Remove used batteries from the product Remove the battery from the product if it is not going to be
used for some time

Clean the product regularly with a damp cloth for optimum functionality
