FOR YOUR SAFETY - READ BEFORE OPERATING
BEFORE START UP
Keep the Heater area clear and free from combustibles,
fl
am-
mable liquids and chemicals.
Ensure that the system is
fi
lled with water and the water
supply is turned on.
QUICK START
Check that the Electricity and Gas Supplies are on. Turn on
the Heater with the switch on the Front Panel and set the
desired water temperature with the + / - buttons. In a few
seconds the Heater will light.

ON/OFF SWITCH
Turns the Heater On and Off and when illuminated indi-
cates the Heater is powered.
DISPLAY
Standby
Th
e display shows the current temperature of the water in
the tank and the standby symbol.
DEMAND
Th
e Heater will be running and the display will show the
tank temperature, and a tap symbol.
If the burner is on, a
fl
ame
symbol will also be
shown.
SET TEMPERATURE
To set a new set temperatures press the + and - buttons.
Th
e temperature can be altered between 45 and 70°C.
RESET
If ‘RESET’ is displayed it means the Gas Control has been
unable to light the Heater. To reset, press the RESET but-
ton below the indication on the display or, the Reset
button on the Burner Control behind the lower front
panel.
If this requires repeated use, there is a fault that will
require the attention of a quali

is appliance is equipped with an ignition device
which automatically lights the burner.
BEFORE OPERATING
after a prolonged time off, smell
all around the appliance area for gas.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
•
Do not try to light any appliance
•
Do not touch any electric switch
•
Do not use any phone in your building.
•
Immediately call your gas supplier from a neigh-
bour’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.
•
If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the
fi
re service.
•
Isolate the appliance with the Service Cock
inside. If this is not accessible, isolate at the
gas meter.
WARNING
•
Do not remove or adjust any component part of
this water heater; contact the installer.
•
If this heater developes a fault, such as hot water
from a discharge pipe, contact the installer.
•
Do not use this appliance if any part has been
under water. Immediately call a quali
fi
ed
service engineer to inspect the appliance and
to replace any part of the control system and
any gas control which has been damaged.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Incorrect water balance will cause premature failure
of this heater. Such damage is not covered under war-
ranty.
