Operator Manual

Rack Return

IMPORTANT: Ensure decontaminated instruments passing from soiled side to clean side are installed in a clean

container to avoid contact with the rack return chamber.

4. Using a damp cloth or sponge, apply cleaner in a back-and-forth motion, in same direction as surface grain.
5. Thoroughly wipe off cleaner.
6. Polish surface with a clean, dry and lint-free cloth.
7. Turn rack return power back ON.

If SCS Conveyor System is present, turn SCS Conveyor System ON.

8. Remove safety lock. Door automatically closes.

5.6 Testing Door Safety

Every 6 months, a door safety test is required to verify both doors security.

1. Press Command button to open door and put safety lock in place.

NOTE: Safety lock is located on the upper left corner of the door opening.

2. Press Command button to close door. Door closes and hits the safety lock.
3. Door goes in alarm state and opens.

NOTE: If optional status indicator light is present: light is red on tested door.
NOTE: If door does not open, test has failed. Call STERIS

4. Repeat procedure to verify door on the other side.
