The torch head should be unscrewed out of the handle; the battery should be placed in

such a manner that the (-) pin leans against the spring inside the handle. The torch is swi-

tched on by screwing the head and switched off by its unscrewing until the torch goes

out and by doing around half
a turn more.

Storage and transport

The LED STINGRAY torch should be stored and transported with the batteries out, which

avoids its possible damage caused by incidental switching on.

Baterry charging

The Li-Ion 18650 rechargeable cell can be charged with the use of the charger attached

to the LED STINGRAY VIDEO SET or any charger dedicated to charging 18650 Li-Ion rechar-

geable cells.
WARNING! During the charging do not leave the charging battery unattended.
Do not charge the battery at temperatures lower than 0 °C and higher than 40 °C (32 °F

and 104 °F respectively)

Precautions to be taken

Do not use the 18650 rechargeable cells not protected by the protecting circuit.
Do not use batteries heated up to temperatures of more than 40 °C (104 °F) – high tem-

peratures can destroy the battery.
Do not leave the torch in the sun. A battery heated as a result of that can reach a con-

siderable temperature, which may lead to a signifi cant gas emission from the battery,

resulting in untightening of the torch and subsequent damage to it, or even its explosion.
Do not leave the torch next to a heat source.
The torch is a strong source of light!
Looking directly at the light should be avoided. The torch is also a source of UV radiation.

The radiation can cause damage to the eye retina. Uncovered skin exposure to prolon-

ged radiation should be avoided as well.
The torch is not a toy!
Keep out of reach of children.
Ammonite System® guarantees torch tightness up to the depth of 200 m.
Do not use the torch in the case of any visible damage to the o-ring sealing.
