3.6  Lubrication and maintenance operations

3.6.35  Swinging support check

Once a year check the swinging support for excessive clearance. 

Machine equipped with a one-point lifting lug 
Lift the machine with a crane while using the one-point lifting 

lug. 
Visually check the clearance of the swinging support by 

applying pressure on the machine alternatively upwards and 

downwards. 

The machine is not equipped with a one-point lifting lug 
Lift the machine slightly with a suitable hydraulic jack. 
Visually check the clearance of the swinging support by 

applying pressure on the machine alternatively upwards and 

downwards.

3.6.36  Articulation joint check 

Once a year check the articulation joint for excessive clearance. 
Machine equipped with a one-point lifting lug 
Lift the machine with a crane while using the one-point lifting 

lug. 
Visually check the clearance of the articulated joint by applying 

pressure on the machine alternatively upwards and downwards. 
The machine is not equipped with a one-point lifting lug
