Disconnecting of supplying conductors is done only after previous Recording
Unit switching-off through

signal. If not, you may lose data.
4.3.2
Loading of actual version of an application
An actual version of application is listed in Appendix D of this document.
To load a new version of an application into recording unit is necessary to per-
form the following steps:
1. Switch the Recording unit power supply off
2. Attach the keyboard to the upper USB of X2 connector pair
3. Attach the USB flash disk to USB connector X3 (the bottom one)

4. Switch the Recording unit power supply on
5. Wait for performing operations, that are involved in recording procedure.
Both operations are indicated by blinking of keyboard LED. Because per-
forming of service operations takes about 5 minutes, pay an appropriate
attention to LED indicators.
Formating disk
– indicated by blinking LED Scroll Lock
Loading of application
– indicated by alternating blinking of Num
Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock LEDs
6. After completion of operations none of LED will light
7. Switch the unit power supply off
8. Disconnect the USB flash disk and keyboard
9. Switch the Recording unit power supply on

Verifying of loaded application
Version of application which is loaded in Recording unit you can get from re-
sponse to http request.
1. Set the fix IP address (NP_IP) and Subnetwork Mask (NB_Mask) on ser-
vice notebook in accordance with APPENDIX E
– Configuration parame-
ters, IP address setting up.
IP Address:
172.16.5.33
Subnetwork mask:
255.255.255.0
Outgoing gateway:
do not fill
2. Run the internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer).
3. Enter the command
172.16.5.54:8888/info
into the line for address set-
ting
4. Confirm the command by Enter key.
