CHECK ALCI EVERY TIME YOU
USE THIS HAIR DRYER
This hair dryer is equipped with
an Appliance Leakage Circuit
Interrupter (ALCI), a safety feature
that renders it inoperable under
some abnormal conditions, such as
immersion in water. To make sure the
ACLI is functioning properly and the
exclusive water sensing system (ALCI)
is working, perform the following test:
1.
Plug in the hair dryer and press
test button on plug.
2.
Hair dryer will stop working.
There will be an audible click
and the reset button will pop
out.
3.
To reset ALCI with a Reset
button: Unplug unit. Then push
Reset button in, and reinsert
plug into outlet.
4.
Be sure to repeat test every
time you use this hair dryer to
confirm the ALCI is operational.
5.
If ALCI is not functioning
properly, return the hair dryer
to a service center.
6.
If a water immersion occurs,
bring this unit into a service
center. Do not try to reset.
Should the dryer go off and the
Reset button pop out during use,
this could indicate a malfunction
in the dryer. Remove the plug from
the outlet and allow the dryer to
cool. Reset the ALCI. Reinsert the
plug into the outlet. The dryer
should function normally. If not,
return it to a service center for
examination and repair.

Styling Tips
Salon Quality Blowout
Remove excess water by towel
drying hair; detangle and then use
the dryer to get hair almost dry.
Start with the top of your head,
dividing your hair into eight equal
parts, sectioned horizontally,
clipping each back. Starting with
one of the bottom parts, unclip and
take a 2-3 inch section.
Body and Volume
To create extra volume, turn head
upside down while drying. Position
the airflow toward the roots for
maximum lift. When hair is done
drying, toss head back and gently
brush hair into place.
Using a barrel brush, pull from
the root of the section and pull
taut. Aim the dryer downward and
follow the brush as you draw it
through the section, maintaining
tension.
Continue to work in 2 to 3 inch
areas until you’ve finished the
section and then repeat on the
other sections. There are two
attatchments included. The
concentrator is best for drying
bigger sections of hair. The
included finger diffuser delivers
excellent results on curly, permed
or fine hair.
