CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before any cleaning or maintenance, make
sure that the appliance is unplugged from
the power source and has cooled down com
-
pletely.
l
Do not use corrosive or abrasive substances
for cleaning. Use only clean water with a mild
detergent.
l
Wipe the casing of the appliance with a damp
cloth, do not under any circumstances im
-
merse the appliance in water or any other liq
-
uid or aim jets of water at it. Dry the appliance
thoroughly after cleaning.
l
To remove crumbs from the toaster, remove
the crumb tray (Fig.1, item 1), empty it and
reinsert it.
l
To remove any crumbs inside the appliance,
place the appliance over a sink, turn it upside
down and shake it gently. The crumbs inside
the device should fall out.
Clean the crumb tray regularly after each use
(Fig. 3). Do not allow crumbs to accumulate in
the tray, as this may cause a fire.
