The OpenUp! function
This function allows you to open the oven
door by touching the handle. There are two
opening modes to choose from – One time
and Always. In On-time mode you can touch
the handle to open the door once only each
time you set a heating function. In Always
mode you can always touch the handle to
open the door when you set a heating func-
tion.
IMPORTANT: The OpenUp! function is not
available when:
•
Function knob is set to “0.”
•
The appliance is Power On mode.
•
Pyrolytic cleaning is in progress (ovens
with pyrolytic cleaning function).
To enable the function touch and hold
MENU
until the
message is shown on the
display. Use the

following:

To open the oven door, touch the metal strip
of the oven door handle. You need to touch
the handle for at least 0.5 second. The sen
-
sitivity of the handle allows you to open the
door with your hand or a covered part of the
body, e.g. the elbow or the knee.
Regardless of the OpenUp! settings, the
door can be opened manually in any situa-
tion by pulling the handle.
Note: When OpenUp! function is active in
Always mode, door can be easily opened
inadvertently. We recommend to closely
supervise children or to deactivate the Ope-
nUp! function.
