Pour a dose of the washing agent into the chamber as recommen-
ded by the manufacturer. The washing agent may also be poured
directly into the washing machine drum.

The washing machine has special rinse and spin programmes
adapted to delicate fabrics – they are marked with a symbol on
the panel.
X. Dosage
In accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer of wa-
shing agents.
An insufficient dose of the washing agent may cause:

Grey laundry.
l
Pellets of oil, built-up scale.
An excessive dose of the washing agent may cause:
l
Excessive foaming.
l
Reduced washing efficiency, poor rinsing results.
Stubborn stains
l
Treat the stains additionally with a stain remover, in conformance
with instruction of use.
Heavily soiled clothes
l
Wash smaller loads of laundry at a time
l
Add more washing agent
l
After the heavily soiled clothes (e.g. working clothing) or clothes,
which lose fibres, are washed, in order to rinse the washing machine,
it is recommended to use the washing programme of a temperature
of 60°C without a load, e.g. COTTON or SYNTHETICS.
Lightly soiled clothes

Hard water causes scale to be built up.
Information on the water hardness can be obtained from the nearest
Water Company.
It is recommended to use water softeners for each wash.

Wash lightly soiled linen, using the EVERYDAY or SHORT WASH
programme.

Additional rinsing is not necessary, when optimal doses of washing
agents are applied.
