V. Control elements of the washing machine

Roughly estimated time until the end of a washing cycle

Time displayed on the clock is only a forecast and may be different from the real

washing time, depending on water temperature and pressure, load size and amount

of dosed washing powder. Time is automatically updated during washing; momentary

stoppages and leaps of time are permissible.

Spin rotations adjustment

Pushing the button “spin rotations” causes cyclic changes in the settings. The following

settings of rotations are possible:

For cotton, cotton spinning, cotton rinsing programmes: 1400, 1300, 1200, 1100,

1000, 900, 800, 700, 600, 500, 400, 100

For Everyday programme: 1000, 900, 800, 700, 600, 500, 400, 100

For Synthetics, Super Short, Delicate, Wool, Delicate Rinsing, Delicate Spinning

600, 500, 400, 100

The more delicate is the fabric, the lower spin rotations should be set. The scope of

regulation of the Spin rotations is specified in the “Washing programmes table”.

l

”Extra rinse”             or

It adds one (             ) or more (            ) rinses to the selected washing programme.

This function is particularly useful in the case of water of high hardness. It improves

effectiveness of rinsing, but increases water consumption. This function is recom-

mended while washing clothes for allergy sufferers.

l

„Eco”

It shortens the washing time by about 30% and reduces the general number of

rinsing cycles by one. This function is useful in the case of washing lightly soiled

clothes. Less washing agents are applied and power and water are saved. An

exemplary washing time with the activated “ECO” function:

For EVERYDAY programme – 32 min.

For MANUAL programme – 83 min.
