4.2 Type SADT

4.2.1 Disassembly of the actuators type SADT

1.  Remove cover screws (18) and detach the two flat cover (34) with seals.

2.  Loosen the nuts (31) and remove the two pistons (28) carefully.

3.  Loosen the screws (24) and remove both intermediate cover (21) carefully.

4.  Push out by turning the shaft (7) on the external square counter-clockwise two pistons (1) with

guide rods (17) from the housing (16).

5.  Mark the position of the pistons (1) for the reassembly.

6.  Remove the circlip (14), the washer (13) and the bearing washer (12) and push out the shaft

(7) downward from the housing (16).

4.2.2 Assembly of the actuators type SADT

1.  Set up the shaft (7) with the greased O-rings (10+11) and the bearings (8+9) from the bottom

in the housing (16).

2.  Equip  and  grease  both  pistons  (1)  with  the  piston  sealing  ring  (3)  and  O-rings  (4)  and  the

bearings (5+6).

3.  Equip the piston rods (25) with the O-rings (26) and screw with the nut (31) and washer (29) in

each one piston (1).

4.  Slide the guide rods (17) from the top up to the O-ring (4) into the piston (1).

5.  Grease the sliding surfaces of the pistons in the body (16)

6.  Insert the pistons (1) from the left and right side in the housing (16). The guide rods (17) are

pushed through free piston bore on the opposite. Observe the installation position!

7.  The  pistons  (1)  should  be  pushed  together  until  the  piston  crowns  terminate  flush  with  the

housing (16).

8.  When the two pistons (1) terminates flush to the housing (16), both pistons (1) will be pressed

in mutual termination inside by further rotation of the shaft (7) clockwise. "CLOSED" position.

9.  Adjust the guide rods (17), until they have roughly the same body position on each side.

10. Grease lightly the cover seal (O-ring) (19+20+22+27).

11. Equip  the  intermediate  cover  (21)  with  O-Rings  (19+20+22+27)  and  bearings  (23),  then

tighten the screws (24) on the housing (16).

12. By doing the cover or cover assembly, note that the longitudinal bore is located within in the

housing (16) of the cover seal (O-ring) (20).

13. Provided the pistons (28) with seals (30) and screw with the nut (31) and washer (29) on each

of a piston rod (25).

14. Fix both end covers (34) with the cover screws (18). Tighten the cover screws (18) cross over

with the appropriate torque (see Table 4.2).

15. Check the shaft positioning in position "close". The corners of the inner octagon of the shaft

are at the cross axis of the actuator and the groove in the male square across the actuator. If

this is not the case, press shaft (7) down from the housing (16) and insert it into the correct

position in the housing (16).

16. Bring the bearing washer (12) and the adjusting washer (13) on the free shaft end and secure

with the circlip (14).

4.3 Type SADF / SAF

CAUTION!

Disassembly of the spring cover may only be performed when the actuator stands in

the safety position. Risk of Injury!

4.3.1 Disassembly of the actuator type SADF / SAF

1.  These actuators are equipped with bound spring packet (32).

2.  Loosen all cover bolts evenly (18). After a few turns, the bias of the springs is received in the

spring assembly.
