h. Adjust the TRIP LEVEL potentiometer slightly CW.
i. Momentarily press the RESET pushbutton on the Current Limit option PCB on the inside front door
or remotely with a push button connected to terminals 33 & 34. The power controller should turn
on.
5.3 Option CR/OC (Current Regulation/Over Current Trip)
Refer to Chapter 4, and review the setup procedure for ZERO and SPAN controls. Then adjust Option
CR/OC as follows:
a. Set the TRIP LEVEL potentiometer fully CW.
b. Adjust the CURRENT REG
(CUR/PWR)
potentiometer fully CW.
c. Adjust
ZERO
and
SPAN
as previously described.
d. Adjust CURRENT REG
(CUR/PWR)
potentiometer full CCW.
e. Set the input control signal to demand full output
f. Adjust the CURRENT REG
(CUR/PWR)
potentiometer until full-scale current level is reached.
g. With the power controller at full level, adjust the OC LEVEL potentiometer CCW until the unit shuts
off.
h. Adjust the OC LEVEL potentiometer slightly CW.
i. Momentarily press the RESET pushbutton. The power controller should turn on.
5.4 Option PR
Refer to Chapter 4, and review the setup procedure for the ZERO and SPAN controls. Then adjust
Option PR as follows:
a. Adjust the PR and CL potentiometers fully CW.
b. Adjust
ZERO
and
SPAN
as previously described.
c. Adjust the PR
(CUR/PWR)
potentiometer fully CCW.
d. Set the input control signal to demand full output.
e. Adjust the PR
(CUR/PWR)
potentiometer until the maximum power level is reached.
f. Adjust the CL potentiometer CCW until the maximum current starts to reduce.
