Pump loose in cabinet
Isolate pump from frame.
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Poor quality product water
High Chlorine levels
RO+ not rinsed thoroughly
Fouled membrane
Conductivity cell out of
calibration
Replace the Carbon Filters.
Rinse membrane (see
Section 4.2).
a. Clean or replace
membranes (Section 6).
Verify the conductivity cell
accuracy with a known
good meter. Follow the
calibration procedures in
Section5.3 or replace cell if
necessary.
Low product flow rate
Low pressure feeding
membrane
Low pump PSI
Reject GPM flow rate too
high
Excessive PRODUCT line
backpressure
Low temperature incoming
tap water
Prefilter clogged
Fouled Membrane
Verify that the incoming tap
water supply is fully open.
Pump should be operating
at 200 PSI.
Turn reject flow to product
flow with the throttle valve.
Check for restrictions in the
PRODUCT line.
Consult temperature
correction chart in Section
2.4 to determine if the flow
rate is normal in relation to
the feed water temperature.
Check the prefilter gauges
for pressure drop. Replace
the prefilter cartridge if the
pressure drop is > 10 PSI
from the initial value.
Clean or replace
membranes (Section 6).
