-Standard single unit piping configulation-

Below is a suggested piping diagram.  This diagram is just a suggestion.  Check with local codes and ordinances 

for additional installation requirements.  Refer to the water heater manufacturer’s website for additional layouts.
Thermostatic mixing valves may be used with tankless water heaters.  Consult with the mixing valve manufacturer 

for the appropriate mixing valve for the application.  
To reduce the risk of scalding, install Thermostatic Mixing Valves (temperature limiting valves) at each point of use.
