Installing SIMMs

 There are four x 36 SIMM sockets located on the Apollo motherboard. These sockets can be filled with
either 256 KB x 32 or 36, 1 MB x 32 or 36, 4 MB x 32 or 36, 8 MB x 32 or 36, or 16 MB x 32 or 36 SIMMs.

Place the motherboard on an anti-static mat. With the component side of the SIMM facing you, firmly push
the SIMM into the socket at an angle, then push it up. When properly inserted, the SIMM clicks into place
as the latching pins engage. The SIMM installation process is shown below:
