The VTR can be programmed to automatically rewind the tape when the tape reaches its end.
How to Set to Auto Rewind at End of Tape

Press the DISPLAY
button.

Alarm recording does not operate during auto-rewind.

SET button.

TAPE END MODE.

Press the + or – SET
button to select REW
→
STOP.

Press the DISPLAY
button twice to erase the
display.

When tape end is detected during recording, the tape
automatically rewinds and stops at beginning of the tape.
Caution:
If you need the VTR to Auto Rewind even if an alarm condi-
tion occurred then set TAPE END ALARM to “CONT.” in the
MENU SCREEN.
