Prior to first use
WARNING!
After unpacking, check the device and ensure that all
parts are included and check for any potential transport
damage – to avoid any hazards. In case of any doubt, do
not use the device and contact our customer service. The
service addresses are listed in our warranty terms and on
the warranty card.
Your device has been packaged to protect it from any potential transport damage�
• Carefully remove the device from its original packaging�
• Remove all packaging�
• Clean the device and all accessories and remove all remaining dust from the
packaging as described in Chapter “Cleaning, maintenance and care”�
Please note, however, that plastic or varnish on furniture may damage the rubber
feet of the device� Please use a suitable, non-slip and heat resistant support, if
necessary, (the support must not be soft)�
Before first use, we recommend boiling up water in a suitable pot 3-4 times to
potentially remove any manufacturing-related residues on the induction cooktop�
Any emerging smells or developing smoke are normal in this process and will
disappear quickly� This does not mean the device is malfunctioning� Ensure
sufficient ventilation, e�g� by opening a window�
