Cranberry Orange Smoothie
1 ½ cups orange juice
1 cup fresh or frozen sliced peaches, cut in half
¼ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
Icy Hot Chocolate
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons hot cocoa mix
Several small ice cubes (you may delete ice cubes if you use frozen yogurt – see
below)
¾ cup chocolate ice cream (or your favorite kind)
1 container (6 ounces) vanilla yogurt (can use frozen yogurt if desired)
Tropical Smoothie
1 cup milk
¼ cup unsweetened coconut milk
¾ cup fresh or frozen chopped pineapple
¾ cup fresh or frozen chopped mango
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Strawberry Mango Smoothie
1 cup apricot nectar
½ cup fresh or frozen chopped mango
½ cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 container (6 ounces) vanilla yogurt
Pomegranate Berry Smoothie
¾ cup pomegranate juice
½ cup milk
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
½ cup raspberry sherbet
2 tablespoons honey (optional)
For additional nutrition add spinach, kale, cooked beets or broccoli and/or used
reduced fat (2%) or skim milk.
For added protein you may add 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter, egg white powder,
or whey protein.
