Safety measures in operation
Only operate the implement if all the safety and protective equipment
is fully functional.
Check the implement at least once a day for visible damage and
check the functionality of the safety and protective equipment.
2.8
Dangers through residual energy
Note that there may be residual mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or
electrical/electronic energy in the implement.
Use appropriate measures to inform the operating personnel. You can
find detailed information in the relevant sections of this operator’s
manual.
2.9
Maintenance and repair, troubleshooting
Carry out required adjustment, maintenance and inspection work in a
timely manner.
Secure all media, such as compressed air and the hydraulic system
from unintentional start-up.
Carefully fix and secure larger subassemblies to lifting gear when
carrying out replacement work.
Check that all bolt connections are tight. After completing mainte-
nance work, check the function of safety and protection equipment.
2.10 Constructive
modifications
You may not make changes, additions or modifications to the
implement without receiving authorization from AMAZONEN-WERKE.
This also applies when welding support parts.
Any additions or modifications shall require the written approval of
AMAZONEN-WERKE. Only use modifications and/or additional parts
released by AMAZONEN-WERKE so that the operating permit
remains valid in accordance with national and international
regulations.
WARNING
Risk of being crushed, cut, caught, drawn in or struck if
supporting parts break.
It is prohibited to:
drill holes in the frame or chassis
increase the size of existing holes in the frame or chassis
weld support parts
