Starting the Wash
1. Prepare clothes for washing
For best wash results:
• Remove items from pockets and cuffs
• Close zippers and fasteners; mend rips and tears
• Sort items into separate loads
• Pre-treat stains and heavily soiled areas
2. Select wash cycle
Press a cycle pad to select the appropriate cycle for your wash load. The
display will glow and show the preset agitation time. For best results when
cleaning heavily soiled items, use longer agitation time, up to 18 minutes
maximum. Lightly soiled items require less wash time.
3. Adjust settings
You can change the wash time, water level,
or water temperature to match the load you
are washing.
4. Press OPTIONS pad, if desired

5. Press START pad to begin
Water fill begins. Total wash time displays.
Measure and add detergent to washtub. Add fabric softener to dispenser
Use only detergent recommended for top-loading washers.
See DISPENSERS section for help with fabric softener.
Add clothing to water in washtub

Clothes should fill wash tub but should not be packed. Loosely fill tub with
clothes no higher than top row of holes. Items must move freely through
wash/rinse water. Adjust WATER LEVEL, if needed.
Close washer lid
Washer will not operate when lid is open.
6. To stop or cancel a cycle.
•
Press the STOP/CANCEL pad once to pause an
active cycle. The wash time will flash. To resume
the cycle press the START pad.

To cancel a cycle press the STOP /CANCEL pad twice.
FAVORITE CYCLE
Press this pad to use saved settings.
To save a cycle:

Select the cycle
•
Select desired WASH TIME, WASH
LEVEL, and WASH TEMP.
•
Choose desired OPTIONS.
•
Press the SAVE CUSTOM
SETTINGS pad to save the favorite
cycle into memory.
To begin your favorite cycle that has
been saved, press the FAVORITE
CYCLE pad and the START pad. If you
wish the cycle chosen to return to the
factory preset, press the specified cycle
pad again.
If a favorite cycle is not saved into
memory the washer will display the
REGULAR cycle preset factory settings
when the FAVORITE CYCLE pad is
pressed.
The customized cycle will stay in
memory until another customized cycle
is programmed. If your unit is
unplugged or power has been lost,
settings will need to be reprogrammed.
