This flush-mounted controller has been devised for the time-dependent control of the cooling/heating
operations performed by 2- and 4-pipe systems existing in hotels, living spaces and/or business
premises. It suits for the control of both normally closed and normally open valve actuators. It has
been designed to perform its control operations as room climate controller, heating or cooling control-
ler either without or in combination with a fan. In the event the output O2 has been configured as ECO
output (see 6.6), this output switches during all ECO times (as for the configuration of the mode of
action of the in- and outputs see section 6.7) and all connected controllers are switched over to ope-
ration in ECO mode (see section 9., “Connection diagram of the 230 V AC model” or section 10.,
“Connection diagram of the 24 V AC / DC model”).
2. Application / functional description
The device is equipped with 4 touch keys, all of which have been marked by the symbol .The func-
tions allocated to them may vary in dependence on the operation requirements. The related function
is being indicated on the display that exists above the corresponding keys . A special protective
function helps prevent an inadvertent activation of the touch keys. This function is activated 20
seconds after any of the touch keys has last been activated. Actuating any of the touch keys deacti-
vates this function again for 2 seconds (see advice indicated on the display).
