Installing Ground Wire

Start by measuring the position from the hump in
the cab (6”) and remove the paint until you have
bare metal. Attach the ground cable. Removing the
paint is crucial for a proper ground point.

Use a punch tool to mark the hole location.
Confirm that there is nothing underneath the
marked hole location.

Drill a 5/32” (4mm) hole for the sheet metal screw.

Clean up the area from metal shavings and debris.

Use the sheet metal screw and serrated washer
from Screw Kit D (Amplifier Bracket Mounting Kit)
and install the ground terminal.

Route the negative ground wire around the center
seatbelt toward the amplifier terminal as shown.
