Power supply:
Incorrect voltages can damage the device. This device may only be connected to a power sup-
ply network with the voltage specified on the nameplate using the correct 12V device connec-
tion cable or the enclosed power cable. The power plug of the TV set must be easily accessible
so that the set can be disconnected from the mains at any time. When you pull out the power
plug, do not pull on the cable, but on the connector housing. The cables in the mains plug could
be damaged and cause a short circuit when plugged in again.
Lay the power cord so that it cannot be damaged. The power cord must not be kinked, laid over
sharp edges, walked on or exposed to chemicals - the latter applies to the entire device!
A power cord with damaged insulation can cause electric shock and is a fire hazard.
Air circulation and high temperatures:
The ventilation slots on the back of the device must always remain free. Please do not put
newspapers or doilies on / over the TV set. At least 2 cm free space for air circulation must be
ensured at the side and at the top if the device is placed in a cupboard or on a shelf or hung up.
Like any electronic device, your TV set needs air for cooling when it is in operation. If the air
circulation is restricted, a fire can result.
Only place the TV set with the stand on a flat, stable, horizontal surface. The device should not
protrude from the front, especially when it is installed in or on furniture.
Set up the device so that it is not exposed to direct sunlight and no additional heating from
radiators.
Prevent metal parts, needles, paper clips, liquids, wax or the like from getting into the interior
of the device through the ventilation slots on the rear panel. This leads to short circuits in the
device and thus possibly to a fire.
If something should get inside the device, pull out the power plug immediately and contact
customer service to have it checked.
Repairs and accessories:
Under no circumstances should you remove the rear panel of the TV set yourself.
Only leave repair and service work to authorized television technicians.
