1.0 Introduction
The SMG-00LI-01 is a strand-mounted HFC-powered, DOCSIS 3.0 LoRaWAN Gateway that utilizes the power, backhaul
and real-estate of the Broadband Access Network’s areal coax network to enable LoRaWAN communications.
The SMG-00LI-01 has the following key features:
• Passively cooled carrier-grade design (IP67)
• Full-Duplex Operation
• 2x LoRaWAN RF antenna connections
• Supports multicarrier LoRaWAN transmission
• Full 64 + 8 LoRaWAN uplink channel support
• Flexible uplink channel configuration (eg. 32 channel full Rx diversity or 56 c 8 channel Rx diversity)
• Ethernet Backhaul via DOCSIS3.0
• GPS-based position and synchronized timing
