Drill Related Controls / LEDs
3.4.1
Memory Place Rotary Dial w/22 positions (Figure 3-10)
The 22-position rotary dial is used to select an existing drill and also to identify the memory
position in which you would like to save a new drill to. The Alpha robot comes with 12 drills
pre-assigned and loaded to positions 11-22. These drills are covered in Section 4.
3.4.2
Memory Select/save Button (Figure 3-11)
The Memory Select/save Button is used to activate an existing drill or to save a new/modified
drill. A short push of the button will Select/Load the drill stored at the memory position
indicated with the MEMORY PLACE rotary dial. A long (2+ seconds) will save the currently active
drill into the location indicated with the MEMORY PLACE 22 position rotary dial. A successful
save will cause the LED Displays to flash.
Note:
Saving a drill will erase any drill that was previously stored in the indicated memory
location.
