6. Communication
6.1 DB-9 Connector
The UPS has a DB-9 (9 pin female) connector on the rear panel that allows the UPS to communicate with
a computer with UPS software. The connection provides serial communications for utility and battery
signals.
6.2 Options for Intellislot SNMP Card (Optional)
When this card is plugged in, it enables the user to communicate, monitor, manage and control the UPS
remotely via simple network management protocol (SNMP) using the internet.
