2.3 Principle
After starting the system, when the inverter works at on-grid mode, the photovoltaic solar energy will give
priority to supply the load if the photovoltaic is sufficient; if there is any surplus, it can be used to charge
the battery first; and for more surplus, it will be fed back to the grid in case inverter allows that option. If
the photovoltaic solar energy is insufficient or at night, it will automatically switch to the battery to deliver
electric power to the load and when it run out of energy also, the excess power will be supplied by the
grid.
When the inverter works at off-grid mode, both the load and battery are charged by photovoltaic solar
energy during the day, and the load will be supplied by the battery at night. Below is the overall framework
of the system:
