3.3 Method of installation in the ventilation system
Proper installation of HDE circular duct electric heaters is shown in Figure 3 below.

Guidelines for installation:
•
HDE circular duct electric heaters may be installed vertically or horizontally; however, it’s recommended
to install them horizontally. The air flow direction in the heater does not matter, it is important that the
supplied air was filtered upstream
•
HDE circular duct electric heaters should be installed in such a way that the connection box is not
positioned downwards (see Fig. 4).

• HDE circular duct electric heaters should be installed as such a height so that the connection box is
located 0.6 - .9 m above service level (recommended height 1.7 m)
•
the heater should be installed as indicated on the diagram on Illus. 3 (filter fan heater). It is
recommended to install a duct of at least 1 m between the heater and other components of the
ventilation system
•
installing a duct filter prevent contaminants permeating into the heater which might cause deposits on
