Software update
There’s 2 type of software in the Media One. The first is the ReQuest software which must be updated by
ReQuest. The second is the Alluxity software for the touchscreen which can be done manually, see the Soft-
ware Update Guide for more information.
Important handling information
There are a few things to avoid doing when using the Media One.
1. Avoid placing the Media One in a closed invironment as a cabinet. The Media One needs airflow in order
to stay cool.
2. If using the touch screen to change songs, don’t press the Next- or Previous track too quickly.
3. Shut off the Media One in the correct order - Standby before cutting the power. Cutting the power with-
out the Media One in standby, can damage the operative system.
4. If you encounter any issues don’t try open and try to figure it out yourself, instead follow the guide on
the next page.
5. Remember to do backup of you stored Music after adding new songs, so everything is recoverable in
case of hard drive failure.
