Motor Shaft Assembly and Installation
Assembly and installation of the motor shaft assembly can
be accomplished while the winch is mounted on the tractor.
The motor and brake can be installed independently of
other components (other than various hoses and fi ttings),
but taking out the planetary reducer and reducer housing
must be installed before the
FREESPOOL
Shifter Fork
and Intermediate Shaft and Gear (see
Intermediate Shaft
Installation
section).
