Intermediate & FREESPOOL Shaft Installa-
tion
These fi gures show the winch removed from the tractor
with the clutch shaft and brake shaft removed.

Position the FREESPOOL drum pinion in the hous-
ing.
1.
Install inner bearing assembly if previously removed.
Use a liberal amount of grease (MIL-G-10924F) to
hold the inner bearing cone in place.
3.
Place dental clutch on pinion gear. Ensure chamfered
ramp faces pinion.
4.
Position intermediate gear in housing.
NOTE: Install intermediate gear with high shoulder
down.
5.
Install intermediate shaft.
