AT-S30 Management Software

The AT-S30 software is the management software for the switch. You use the
software to configure the switch’s various operating parameters, such as the
IP address and the subnet mask. Managing a switch is simplified through the
use of the management interface, which comes standard with the AT-S30
management software. This interface consists of a series of menus and
prompts that make it very easy for you to set and change a switch’s operating
parameters.

You can access the AT-S30 software and the management interface by
connecting a terminal or a computer with a terminal emulator program to the
RS232 port on the back panel of the switch. You can also manage the switch
with a web browser, the Telnet program, or an SNMP management program.

Note

For instructions on how to use the AT-S30 software and the
management interface, refer to the

AT-S30 Management Software

User’s Guide

, which is available from the Allied Telesyn web site.
