Running a Blood Glucose Test
Before running your first test, make sure you set up meter
properly.
1. Use warm water to wash your
hands and dry them. Then,
massage your fingertips gently. It
will be easier to get blood sample
with less pain.
3. Insert a test strip; make sure the
code on the meter matches the
code on the test strip vial.
2. Take one test strip from the vial
and close the vial cap rapidly and
tightly.
