When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury to persons including the following:
Read all instructions before operating
your Allermed purifier.
•
Always place your Allermed purifier on a
firm, flat, dry level surface. The Allermed
purifier must be used in its upright position.
•
Keep your Allermed purifier away from
heated surfaces, open flames, combus-
tible gases or vapors.
•
Before operating your Allermed purifier,
extend the cord and inspect for any
signs of damage. Do not use if the
cord is or becomes damaged. Keep your
Allermed purifier and cord out of the
way, where it cannot be stepped on or
tripped over.
•
Keep it away from water and other liquids.
•
Do not run power cord under carpets
and do not cover with throw rugs.
•
Always turn your Allermed purifier to
the OFF (0) position and unplug from
the wall before moving it, changing the
filter or whenever it is not in use.
Be sure pull the plug and not the cord
when disconnecting from the outlet.

Do not drop, insert or allow any objects

immediately turn off and unplug your
Allermed purifier and call an Austin
Air Customer Service Representative.

Do not block the air openings on your
Allermed purifier. Blocking the air
openings will decrease the efficiency
of your Allermed purifier and increase
risk of injury.
•
Do not use outdoors. It is intended for
indoor use only.
•
To avoid the risk of fire, shock or perso-
nal injury, do not use an extension cord.
•
Do not sit, stand or place heavy
objects on your Allermed purifier.
•
Do not operate your Allermed purifier
if it malfunctions or becomes dama-
ged in any way.
•
Keep out of the reach of children.
•
DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust
any electrical or mechanical functions
on your Allermed purifier. Doing so
will void your warranty. All servicing
should be performed by an Authorized
Austin Air Representative only.
This product is equipped with a Polarized
Plug (one prong is wider than the other) as
a safety feature. This plug will fit only one
way into the power outlet. If the plug does
not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician to install the proper outlet.
Do not attempt to defeat the safety fea-
ture of this polarized plug in any way.

purificador Allermed. Si se diera el caso,
apague el purificador inmediatamente y
desconéctelo de la red.
•
No bloquee la salida de aire de su
purificador Allermed. Esto haría disminuir
su eficiencia y aumentaría las posibilida-
des de accidentes.
•
No lo utilice al aire libre. El purificador
Allermed está pensado para utilizarse
únicamente en interiores.
•
Para evitar el riesgo de incendio, electro-
cución o daños personales, no utilice un
alargador para conectar el purificador a
la red eléctrica.
•
No se siente, se ponga encima ni coloque
objetos pesados sobre el purificador
Allermed.
•
No utilice el purificador en caso de avería

•
No intente reparar o ajustar las funciones
