Starter Grip
KEY START: Turn the key to the “START” position.
When engine starts, release the key back to the
“RUN” position.
RECOIL START: Turn the key to the “RUN” position,
pull the recoil starter slowly until resistance is felt and
then pull rapidly to start engine.

4. Put the circuit breaker to “OFF” position.
Disconnect any electric devices.
Move the choke lever to the “HALF-
OPEN” position. For restarting a warm
engine, move the choke lever to the
“OPEN” position.
