Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling the meter, lancing
device, and test strips.
- Before puncturing, gently massage the fingertip to obtain a round drop of blood.
- Do not squeeze the finger to obtain a drop of blood.
- Do not smear the blood sample.
