Tool Assembly for round punch
First insert the die.
Die
1. Loosen both the grub screws on the die bed.
2. Place the die with the blank surface (with the small diameter) facing upwards on the die bed.
3. Then tighten the two grub screws.
4. Before punching check the correct cutting clearance between the punch and die.
Slowly push down the punches using the START/STOP function until you can check the proper alignment of the
punch and the die.
Punch
1. Loosen the clamping nut with the drift bolt.
2. Place the punch into the borehole of the clamping nut from above.
3. From underneath insert the clamping nut with the punch into the rotor rod and tighten the clamping nut firmly
with the drift bolt.
If the nut is not tightened enough, the punch will break.
The clamping nut can only be tightened if the hold-down device is turned back while tightening. This will not
happen without the punch and it can lead to a break if tilted.
