Operation of steering wheel
keys during TOWN/CITY

– Allows you to scroll through the char-
acters shown on the left side of the
fourth row of the display.
– Once you have entered two charac-
ters, if you press the “ N ” key once,
you will be given the option of delet-
ing the last character entered; press
SRC/OK
or ß
/MENU
to delete.
Press the “ N ” key again to contin-
ue entering characters.

– Allows you to scroll through the char-
acters shown on the right side of the
fourth row of the display.
– Once you have entered two charac-
ters, if you press the “ O ” key once,
OK? will be displayed on the third
row of the display. This prompts you
to stop entering characters and in-
stead choose the town/city name
from a list. You are only advised to
use this option if the name of the
town/city shown on the second row
is the full name of the required
town/city. Press
SRC/OK or
ß
/MENU to confirm. Press the
“ O ” key again to continue entering
characters.

– Press the & / ESC key to return to
the previous menu.

Proceed as follows to enter the
town/city name:
Scroll through the characters in the fourth
row using the “
N ” or “ O ” keys until the
required characters are displayed on the third
row. Press
SRC/OK or ß /MENU to se-
lect the character.
Proceed in the same way to select the fol-
lowing characters that make up part of the
town/city name in the second row.
Press the “ N ” key to delete the last char-
acter entered. The system will ask you to
confirm the deletion by pressing
SRC/OK
or ß /MENU . If you are using voice in-
teraction, press
‘
and say “Delete”.
As soon as you have entered enough char-
acters,
Blue&Me™ Nav may prompt
you to say the required town/city. Press
‘
and say the name of the town/city.
You still have the option of continuing to en-
ter the destination town/city manually.
Depending on the number of characters en-
tered
Blue&Me™ Nav will display a list
of towns/cities whose names meet the cur-
rent search criteria. Scroll through the list us-
ing the “
N ” or “ O ” keys and press
SRC/OK or
ß
/MENU to confirm. Alter-
natively, you may say the name of the re-
quired town/city directly.

If the system is able to detect the car’s
GPS position, it will suggest the
town/city where you are currently locat-
ed as the destination town/city.

If the town/city name is made up of sev-
eral words, you only need to enter one
of the words making up the town/city
name.

If the name of the town/city displayed
in the second row (see fig. 4) is the full
name of the required town/city, you can
stop entering characters and select the
town/city from the list by pressing “
O ”
once. The message OK? will appear on
the third row of the display. Press
SRC/OK or ß /MENU to confirm.
