The following settings can be adjusted in iPod®/USB Settings:
• USB Skip
• iPod® List Setup
Setting The USB Skip Function
During searching, you can skip over designated folders/files by pressing and holding Rewind
/
Forward for at least 2 seconds. For example, if you select 10File in the searching mode, by
pressing and holding Rewind you can skip backward 10 folders/files from the current
folder/file; by pressing and holding Forward you can skip forward 10 folders/files from the
current folder/file. If the folders/files searched are less than the assigned skipped-over ones,
pressing and holding Rewind
/ Forward will skip to the first or last folder/file.Access the
settings using the following procedure:
1. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to activate the SETUP mode.
2. Turn the Rotary encoder to select iPod®&USB, and press /ENTER.
3. Turn the Rotary encoder to select USB Skip, and press /ENTER.

press /ENTER.
2. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to return to normal mode.
iPod®/iPhone® Search Mode Setting
The unit allows you to search for the iPod®/iPhone® using nine different search modes.
1. Turn the Rotary encoder to select either Playlists, Artists, Artists, Albums, Audiobooks, Podcasts,
Genres, Composers, Songs, or Genius Mixes, and press /ENTER.
2. Turn the Rotary encoder to select either OFF or ON.
3. Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to return to normal mode.
NOTE:
• When the search mode is in Playlists/Artists/Albums/Podcasts/Genres/ Songs/Genius Mixes,
the initial setting is On, and when the search mode is in Audiobooks/Composers, the initial
setting is Off.
