Figure 1 shows the actual movement of the nozzle in a double wash.
1. The Power Unit is hand cranked to 30° up.
2. The valve is opened and the cleaning starts.
The Power Unit rotates and lifts then nozzle
to 150° from where the nozzle starts to turn
downwards.
3. At 30° down a double top wash is completed.
The cleaning is continued and at 0° the
nozzle turns upwards and at 30° up a double
bottom wash is completed.
4. Unless the closest pitch programme is used
for the top wash, a lower programme can be
used to give an even more effective bottom
wash if desired.
