Routine Testing
How to Clean the Devices
Changing Batteries in the Pulse Companion
It is recommended to test the system daily by connecting to the Pulse Companion with the “
Alert-iT
” App and
pressing the “
Test
” button. The pager should alarm for 3 seconds then reset or turn armband off and observe fault
26 shown on the pager.
The Pulse Companion case is anti-microbial, for more information see;

The products can be cleaned by;
`
Wiping with cotton wool pads or cloth moistened (compressed until dripping stops)
with a mild detergent (0.5% washing up liquid) solution or wetting with strong disinfectant
(including Chlorine based cleaners).
`
Wiping with a disposable 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe (or baby wipe).
The “
Settings
” screen displays the current battery life of
both the armband and the Pulse Companion.
Turn the Pulse Companion off (See page 17), then remove
the base of the monitor as shown in Figure 11. Please
notice the polarity marked into the case when replacing
the 2x AAA batteries.
After changing the batteries, the monitor
MUST
be turned
on again by holding the •

• button for 3 seconds.
